By the end of this session participants will be able to:

Atopy: What’s New in Diagnosis and Treatment?

1: Understand the key diagnostics necessary to diagnose canine atopic dermatitis

2: Understand current thinking in the pathogenesis of atopy and how treatments are aimed at this pathogenesis

3: Understand newer drugs used in atopy as well as updated information on older drugs and the role of immunotherapy in the treatment of canine atopic dermatitis

 

 

Topicals: What Every Clinic Should Have and Why

1: Understand how topicals with the same ingredients may vary and understand how to pick the best products based on evidence

2: Understand the categories of topicals and which ingredients in topical medications have the best evidence; how to be sure that each category represented in the clinic without too much redundancy

3: Understand strategies that help clients get the most out of topical therapies
