Dr. Laura Perez will provide a basic introduction and understanding of veterinary rehabilitation and its associated techniques and modalities, review the types of cases that would be appropriate to refer for veterinary rehabilitation, and provide case examples. A demonstration and discussion of very basic techniques that can be implemented in your own practice will be included.

 

Dr. Matt Brunke will provide a systematic review of pain including signs of pain, scoring pain and treating pain in canines and felines. A multimodal approach is emphasized. Practical applications to take back to your patients will be provided. Case examples will be presented.

 

CE Credit Hours:  2.0 

 

Registration at 6 p.m. / Dinner at 6:30 p.m. / Lecture from 7 - 9 p.m.

$40 per person for NYSVMS and NYSAVT members (cash or check only, NYSVMS attendance certificate included).

$140 per person for non-NYSVMS vets and non-NYSAVT techs/staff (NYSVMS attendance certificate included).  $90 goes to CDVMS (cash or check only), and $50 goes to NYSVMS for certificate (check or credit card only). 

$90 per person for non-NYSVMS vets and non-NYSAVT techs/staff who do not want an attendance certificate.

Payment must be made at the door; there will be no billing later.
