7:30 – 8:30 pm            Film to Functional: Where is Diagnostic Imaging in Veterinary Medicine?

Course Description:

Multiple imaging modalities are now becoming available and affordable for veterinary practices.  No longer is film radiography the only imaging study offered to clients.  Ultrasound, MRI and CT scans are now being used in referral and point of care facilities, and in some cases, more than one technology may be necessary to diagnose certain medical and surgical disease conditions.  In this course, available modalities will be discussed using representative cases from Cornell University Hospital for Animals (CUHA) as examples.
