The New York State Veterinary Medical Society (NYSVMS) is an association of veterinarians for veterinarians - its sole purpose is to advocate for, represent, and fulfill the needs of veterinarians in New York State. As your legislative advocate, the NYSVMS closely monitors the thousands of bills introduced annually in the NYS Legislature. When our legislative team determines that a bill would negatively impact the way you practice your profession, it works with legislators to have it amended, withdrawn, or defeated.
