ASPCA Issues Urgent Request to Veterinarians
Share |
As you may have seen in recent news reports, the ASPCA’s Field Investigations and Response Team was involved in busting the largest cockfighting ring in New York State this past weekend. Please click here for the Press Release.

The ASPCA is reaching out to licensed veterinarians and LVTs to express their need for assistance at a temporary shelter in Southern New York. The organization is searching for veterinarians and LVTs with availability from this Wednesday/Thursday for approximately one week who can work in teams of three or four to help with medical intake exams on the thousands of birds seized.

If you are available, please email with your dates. If your availability meets their needs – you will receive a response within 24-48 hours with details to book travel. Travel expenses will be covered by the ASPCA.
