The New York State Veterinary Medical Society (NYSVMS) is the professional association representing the more than 3,500 veterinarians registered to practice in New York State.

The NYSVMS promotes the practice of veterinary medicine, animal well-being, and public health, and offers a broad scope of programs and services to keep veterinarians and the public informed about issues, laws and regulations affecting veterinary practice.

***MEMBER NEWS ALERT *** The NYSVMS is now an approved sponsor of continuing education through the New York State Education Department.

Updated Information on CE Was Added to the Member Only CE Info-Page - Contents: The January 4, 2012 edition of the New York State Register contains a notice of adoption of the CE regulations for veterinarians and veterinary technicians. The adopted regulations are unchanged from the ones published in the State Register in October, and are effective immediately.
