Sign, Sealed & Delivered - Refining Your Neurologic Exam Skills

Presented by: Richard Joseph, DVM, DACVIM (Neurology)

Recognizing, understanding and communicating signs of neurologic disease are paramount to the appropriate management of the neurologic patient. Historical and observational signs are not typically emphasized as much as “hands-on” exam findings. Arriving at a neuroanatomic diagnosis can be a daunting experience when one misses “the forest for the trees”. Learning to maximize on our observational skills in interpreting signs can help bridge the gap. This lecture will attempt to review the big picture relative to refining one's neurologic exam skills and by using case examples to allow the clinician to sign, seal and deliver it with confidence to the client.

There is no testing involved in the seminar. Questions and answer periods are incorporated into the lecture, and attendees will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with the speakers upon completion of the lectures.
