A New Approach to Canine Atopic Dermatitis

Presented by: Ed Jazic, DVM, DACVD

Atopy has traditionally been difficult to diagnose and treat.  Traditional treatments often had the animal taking large doses of corticosteroids to alleviate the signs.  Corticosteroids have many negative side effects especially during long-term use.  Newer modalities for treating Atopy will be discussed, including Cytopoint and Apoquel.

Two (2) Continuing Education credit hours will be awarded to veterinarians and veterinary technicians for this presentation.
