Recognizing compassion fatigue and strategies for stress management and reduction

Presented by

Julie Squires, Compassion Fatigue Specialist

Rekindle, LLC

- Approved for 2 CE credit hours -

This seminar will create an understanding of what compassion fatigue is, signs and symptoms, who is at risk, what the effect is on the individual and the organization and teach simple yet powerful tools for creating resiliency.  Participants will walk away with 4 concrete strategies for coping with the stress and emotional challenges of veterinary medicine.  Participants will also learn that although there are many things an organization can do to lessen stress in the workplace, a great deal of the responsibility for professional wellness resides within the employees themselves. They will walk away with the understanding that their well-being must be a priority in their life. We can’t give what we don’t have.
