Top Pearls and Pitfalls in Ophthalmology

Presented by Jane Cho, DVM, DACVO

Veterinary Eye Specialists PLLC

Dinner 6:30 p.m. / Lecture 6:45 - 9:00 p.m.

This course will cover some aspects of diagnosing the most common ocular conditions in dogs (and to a lesser degree, cats).  These conditions can come up often in general practice, but are not always explained in textbooks.  Discussion of glaucoma, tonometry, corneal ulcer recognition and the proper use of topical atropine will take place with an emphasis on clinical appearances and “real world” clinical ophthalmology.  Due to time limitations, treatment for such conditions will be covered less and the focus will be on diagnosis.

CE Credit Hours:  2.5

Registration Fees:

  •     HVVMS Members and LVTs, free of charge
  •     NYSVMS non-members, or members who belong to regional groups other than HVVMS, $50 per person
