This is a case-based discussion of the diagnosis and treatment of chronic diarrhea in dogs, as well as gastrointestinal ulceration/erosion and other causes of GI tract bleeding.  Emphasis will be on diagnosis and therapies that are not well described in textbooks.  The fact that biopsy is not the solution to most chronic small bowel diseases will be considered.  Common mistakes and pitfalls in both diagnosis and treatment will be focal points.
